This intensive course is suitable for couples who want to learn to dance beautifully on their own wedding.
According to tradition the couple starts the dance with a traditional waltz, modern waltz or Vienese waltz. Many choose nowadays to dance to their favourit songs which might not be a waltz at all.
If you have not chosen a song to dance to we will be glad to help you find one. Ideally we recommend you to choose a modern waltz since it is so well associated with weddings and romance and much easier to choreograph.
In the classes we will help each couple to create a beautiful and romantic choreography for each song indiviually and adjusted to the wishes and abilities of each couple. Most couples find this to be a perfect level. For this with exceptional ambitions we can help to make their choreography even more advanced with additional private lessons for a discounted price.
You do not need any previous dancing experience. We will learn all the steps from scratch in the class. The choreographies are build from real steps mainly from waltz, tango and two-step.
Why intensive courses?
We know through experience that most couples, despite the best intentions, often don't have the time or the space to practice at home between the lessons. By dancing several hours in one weekend you will recieve the neccessary practice without the need to organise anything at home.
It makes it also easier for those living outside Uppsala to join the course. Despite the travelling costs this wedding course is cheaper than any similar courses in for exampel Stockholm.
