Salsa - 2 Cuban salsa + Rueda de casino + LA style
Once you have learned the basic steps and the most common turns in salsa you are ready for this level. We will continue with the Cuban style but we will also start with the even more elegant LA-style, learning popular turns and techniques as well beautiful body movements.

Salsa la style
Cuban salsa is intense, joyful and playful. Communication within the couple is central. Combinations are often danced in circular patterns and the Afro-Cuban roots are clearly visible. At times, the dance is performed with the entire group in what is known as Rueda de Casino.
Linear salsa/LA salsa places a strong emphasis on presence and expression. The figures are elegant and influenced by jazz and ballroom dancing. Double and triple spins, as well as arm and head styling, are common. Linear salsa works well both on the social dance floor as well as on competitions.
LA style, Chicago style, New York style, Puerto Rican salsa, and others are different “dialects,” all characterized by the couple moving along a straight line on the dance floor.
