My love for dance started at the age of eight when my mother brought me to a ballroom dancing studio. The combination of music and movement touched my heart and I participated in the classes with great interest. I soon started to compete and, as the years went by, dancing became more and more serious. I dedicated most of my time to dance and my wish to become a dance teacher did not surprise anyone. I entered the State Academy of Slovenic culture (dance department) and after five years of studies I realized my dreams by getting my diploma.
Although I had been teaching children to dance since I was 13, I now started to teach people of all ages, intrests and qualifications. Teaching has given me a different perspective of dancing and I have also learned a lot from my students as we try to create our classes together.
During the years I have been working with several dancing studios as well as had my own dancing studio.
In Russia ballroom dances are very popular and there are many good professional schools.
As active, interested and open to new experiences Swedish people are, my wish is to make them as interested in ballroom dancing as they are in social dances.
